2 bunches of kale (I added spinach also)
2 bunches of celery
1 grapefruit (I didn’t use this)
2 green apples
2 lemons
2 limes
1 orange (I substituted that for the lime)
3 cucumbers
1 inch piece of ginger

THEN – the final ingredient – coconut water! Pour as much in as you want.  I tend to pour half a glass of green juice and top if off with half a glass of coconut water.

Hydration + leafy green energy = you’re a superhero.

I tried juicing the actual coconut – let’s just say it made great shredded coconut.  The juice that came off of it was very thick and when it was washed into the juice from the other fruits and veggies, there was mushy clumps in the juice.  I did really like the coconut water in the juice.  It gave it a different feel/flavor.  It was more of a tropical twist.  Hmm – maybe getting some coconut water might be in my future. 😀

The kids all gave a sour look after trying it.  It made the juice all worth it.  I did half and half spinach and kale.  I would have added another apple and remember the cucumber for the next batch.  I will probably make it again.

Mango – large
Spinach
Kale
1/2 Lemon

Peel lemon and mango, juice and enjoy!!!

3–4 apples, cored

½ head of red cabbage

1 small fennel bulb

1 lemon

Push all ingredients through a juicer. Serve immediately.

And I am really taking a liking to fennel.  It seems like such a treat, especially when I am already a fan of black licorice.  It gives the juice a “treat” flavor.

Minted Fennel-Apple Juice

Apple Fennel juice Minted Fennel Apple Juice: Ten Years

1 large bulb of fennel, roughly chopped
2 apples (I used Fuji and Honeycrisp) roughly chopped
2 slices of lemon
1 small handful of mint

Feed the ingredients through the juicer, and give the juice a nice stir once it’s processed.

1/2 large pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into cubes (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 pear
1 apple (my addition)
6 large kale or chard leaves
1 cup broccoli florets
1 heaping handful spinach
1 large cucumber
4 celery stalks
1 inch piece of ginger
1 avocado
1 handful of parsley (my addition)

Juice all ingredients but the avocado in your juicer. Transfer juice to your blender, and blend with the avocado until totally smooth. Serve immediately.

Spaghetti Juice

1 small spaghetti sqash
2 oranges, peeled
4 carrots
ginger

Peel squash and cut off stem end.  Cut to fit into juicer.  Juice and enjoy
